Music

At Grace United Methodist Church, our Music Ministry is more than just music — it’s a vital way we worship together, build community across generations, and offer our gifts to God.

Whether through the energy of a modern band, the beauty of choral singing, or the gentle ringing of bells, worship at Grace is a celebration of God’s grace and our shared faith.

We welcome everyone — regardless of age, musical background, or previous experience — to join in. If you have a heart for worship and a desire to serve, there’s a place for you here.

Contemporary Worship Band

Our Contemporary Worship Band leads worship with joy and energy during our modern services. With guitars, keyboards, drums, bass, and voices raised in praise, the band brings contemporary worship songs — along with fresh arrangements of beloved hymns — to life. These musical moments invite the whole congregation into an atmosphere of heartfelt praise, spiritual connection, and vibrant community.

The band’s music often highlights themes of grace, hope, and surrender — reflecting our congregation’s values of justice, mercy, humility, and love for all people. It’s a place where creativity meets devotion, and where modern worship helps us encounter God in a fresh, living way.

Traditional Choir

For those who love the beauty and depth of choral music, our Traditional Choir offers a sacred space to sing hymns, anthems, and liturgical pieces in worship. The voices of the choir lead us in weekly Sunday liturgies, adding richness, reverence, and a sense of continuity with generations of Christian worship.

The choir draws members of all ages and backgrounds, whether you read music fluently or are simply moved by the desire to lift your voice in worship. What matters most is a heart that seeks to glorify God and build up the body of Christ through song.

Bells

(Handbell / Chime Choir)

Our Bells Ministry — whether through handbells or chimes — brings a beautiful and symbolic dimension to worship. The ringing of bells marks special times of worship, highlights liturgical moments, and reminds us of God’s presence and invitation.

Playing bells is accessible to people of all experience levels — prior musical training is not required. It’s a joyful way to participate, serve, and add a distinctive sound to our worship gatherings that lifts up both prayer and praise.
