Giving Funds

These funds are used to support the overall day-to-day operation and outreach of the church. This includes: children, youth and adult fellowship and outreach programs, community support programs, personnel, church and parsonage expenses (i.e., HVAC, utilities, insurance etc.), worship services and music, etc.

Grace Thru the Ages is a designated capital fund. The goal is to raise $1MM
over the next three years to support a number of long-term material projects
for our historic church and parsonage. Here are the guidelines for authorized
expenditures:

  • Assets that have been identified in the 2024 Reserve Study. This lists a targeted replacement schedule of over 60 assets over the next 30 years of the church and parsonage including anticipated cost, and replacement year. It is intended that this study be updated approximately every three years. Identified assets include: tile roofing repair and clean, stain glass windows, organ, kitchen equipment, HVAC,, repair and paint wooden exterior, repair masonry cracks, etc.
  • Future Enhancements to the church building and parsonage voted by the members of the Church survey in early 2025. These include: (bathroom upgrades, building accessibility and safety improvements, sanctuary and crawl space improvements, etc.).

These expenditures will largely be for smaller (<$10K) church and parsonage repair projects and maintenance. This could also be used for items not contemplated in the Reserve Study (i.e., sanctuary lights, lighting upgrades, cameras for streaming, landscaping upgrades/replacement, etc.).

Budgets and Reserve Study details are available upon request.

We have a monthly Mission of the Month that supports a variety community, national and world needs (i.e., locally feed the hungry, housing, disaster relief, etc.) in line with our overall mission.
